Timeless Bridgerton Wedding Inspiration

I had the pleasure of planning and coordinating my first styled shoot this past May, and I am so excited to share every detail! The inspiration for this shoot came from binge watching Bridgerton, falling in love with the floral arrangements, the glamorous outfits, and the massive estates. Once we had our theme, I immediately thought of Loch Aerie Mansion, which gave us the perfect backdrop to feel like a more modern fairytale. Courtney Kattler and I knew we wanted to do this shoot for a long time, and we planned every piece of it together. We brought on Jessie the Florist to create the scene, and she understood the assignment immediately. The tablescape came from The Bee and the Wasp, and each piece was hand picked straight from their warehouse. You may feel like this appears to be an actual wedding, and not just a styled shoot. That’s because our models are recently engaged, and have been a couple for quite some time.

You may hear me say “it’s all in the details” way too much, but it’s so true. When you are planning one of the most expensive, and best days of your life, you want every detail to be cohesive, and exactly how you picture it. Fox and Quill immediately understood what we wanted, and came up with the perfect invitation suite to match our theme. Along with the invites, we had Julia Ranson paint a gorgeous rendition of the venue. When planning the fashion, we had a great appointment with Van Cleve Bridal where they found the perfect dress with a gorgeous detachable skirt, transforming it to a sleek fitting lace gown. Kailee P sent us our something blue, along with a gorgeous white lace shoe to match the dress. Generation Tux worked their magic again and sent the exact right size tux after our model answered just a few questions online. We featured our model’s actual custom made engagement ring from Chiccarine’s, along with wedding bands to match. On the day, Keelan from True Beauty Marks gave our model the most natural glow, and a simple, timeless hairstyle.

To make our styled shoot feel more like a real wedding, we brought in our photo booth, from our sister company Everlasting Events Photo Booth. We gave our models a chance to just have fun with the booth and the dance around the ballroom. We hopped on the latest trend and made a champagne tower as well! Be on the lookout for the Super 8 videography from Mitch Larson Productions, which will be posted in the coming weeks!
